Hey just wondering if I need any special parts in order to pull a steering wheel out of a 1977 Toyota shortbed. The one in mine sucks and I found a nice one at a local yard. On mine the plastic cover is all taped together and funky, do I need to know anything special in order to not break the one I'm pulling off? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'll answer my own question. Went to Auto Zone, rented a steering wheel puller kit for $20.00 plus tax, went to wrecking yard, took 5 minutes pretty much self explanitory on getting it off, 2 screws hold on horn cover, hooked up puller, loosened center nut on wheel, got steering wheel off, took tool back to Autozone, got my $21.88 back. Pretty awesome.
