    1976 chinook $600.

976 Toyota Chinook for sale. The vehicle is old and was stolen once and needed some interior work, so it has a salvage title even though, to my knowledge, it has never been in an accident.

I paid $800 for it 7 years ago- and spent about $2000 fixing it up- new upholstery and carpeting- and wheels and tires. Since then I have not used it too much. The interior is in decent shape, though the drawers in the camper do not open well. It has a closet and a sink and a spare battery and inverter in the back - so it doesn't drain the car battery. And it has a pop top- which makes the interior about 18 inches higher than when driving.

The stove does not work- the gas line needs repair.

The vehicle runs decently and gets 20-24 miles per gallon, but it does not handle well above about 65- and it is very sluggish going up hills.

I don't know the milage- it registered 93000 when I bought it, but the odometer of the day did not have a sixth digit, so I do not know whether it should have a 1 or a 2 in front of the 93000. I have put about 15000 miles on it.

I don't drive it enough now- and need more room in my garage, so I am basically selling it for less than the value of the parts.
