Tryin to find a fit for my taste... looking to purchase a catback system possibly in the near future, and was wondering if anyone had any opinions as to what types or brands i may need to look at... all im really looking for is a nice clean deeper sound out of the back for now... i have the 3.0 v-6 in my truck... any ideas?
Magnaflow or Flowmaster, just pick either one, seems popular. As far as I know, my friend had a Flowmaster 40 series (or was it Super 44?) and it sounded deep, yet loud.
my flowmaster makes my truck sound stupid... cant wait to go back with a magnaflow or something less ****ty.
I've had a dynomax ultra flow stainless on my truck for around 10 years, great muffler, not obnoxious, or ricey..nice deep rumble and was somewhat cheap..i'd definitely buy another
I like the Magnaflow currently on my truck. 2.5" I believe, its a wide oval body with offset entry and offset exit.
This mite sound weird but i was going to do a cherry bomb on my ride with a straight through cat. Cherry bomb has several sizes and shaped of mufflers these days. And should sound nice. JMO http://www.cherrybomb.com/
I like Magnaflows. Whatever you end up going with, it will sound better if you make a complete tailpipe rather than just leaving the muffler shooting out underneath the bed.
if you make it drop straight down it sounds mean.. gives a pretty nasty drone sometimes...but its so funny, I leave it idling in my yard because it runs now and I noticed I have like 5 holes in my dirt that are like 8 inches deep and looks like my yard is "leaking" from the top of an hour glass to the bottom haha
uhhh scratch everything ive said cuz I got the 22r 4 banger... flowmaster may sound nice on yours... Id go with a spintech though !
