Remember this truck has been sitting for over 10 years!!! I turned the key and the truck fired up!!! ....THAT really doesnt surprise me as much as it should...exactly what i LOVE about the old yotas...they always start right up!!...great find...

P.S.- dont trash the other one...its worth something to someone...here in NY,rust is a huge issue,and you have less on the two of those trucks combined than most 2000 models around here

 

Just a quick stop by and post. Looks like I am going to pick up my 3rd 1971 Hilux. Yes that is correct, a 3rd 1971 Hilux. Pics to be posted as soon as I drive it home.

 

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! The all white Hilux is showing 48k on the odometer but who knows if that is 148k or 248k or what.

And no worries nothing is getting "trashed". I think the rusty one would look cool just dropped, 22R, and disc brakes.

Truck was really, really rough. Plus I had no way to get it home. It was not safe to drive.

Picked up some stuff for the Toys.

These wheels my dad had in his shop!!! No clue where he got them but at one point he was trying to sell them fr $5.00!!! I gave him the 5 dollars. They look like someone bought aftermarket wheels and just stored these.



Found these at the local Pick-A-Part.



These I got years ago for my Civic HB but now I will rock these on it at a show.
