Hi all, Im Rick and I live in the UK, up north near preston.

A quick history of my truck.

She is a 93 K Plate 1800 cc Petrol 2wd, My family bought it new for our family buisness where she was a great work horse, when the buisness closed down my brother was given the truck. She sat idle on our driveway for 18 months unused and unloved, it wasnt until my brother came back from travelling and him owing me money I got the truck! Yay A good day for me, considering how much he actually owed me!

So I put on the jump leads checked the oil and water and turned the key, 1st time no hesitation she ran! The love affair began!
Anyway she needed a couple of brake lines and I had to weld some plates on the chassis rails for the mot but that was it, that was 2 years ago and shes still going strong well other than a minor modification to the passenger front corner thanks to a fence post and snow!

Now I have Jeep Cherokee Rims and a Douglas Canopy, a bargain off the bay of e!

I have noticed that your beds in the USA have smooth sides, whereas all the european trucks I have seen have the rope hooks on, or did you mean the top? that is made by a UK company called Douglas canopies.

Plans for the future are to get a different engine, possibly a diesel and a different differential to give me a faster final drive ratio and hopefully a limited slip diff if I can find one with the right ratio.

Sounds good but are you going to lower or lift your truck? Or leave it like it is?

mmmm good question, I dunno yet about the suspension, I use this truck as my daily driver and occasionally I have to tow trailers so for the time being its gona have to stay stock for the time being.

Once I can afford another tow vehicle then I may just have to slam it!
Im loving the look of a lot of the low trucks I have seen on here.
