actually, i must say, RC will get more expensive. so RC plus Toyota Hilux in R/L makes you super poor.
yup! they really do run you to the ground. good thing Tamiya is sorta kinda cheap lol.... I had a Yokomo touring chassis 4WD 1:10th scale... spent a bunch of money on that bitch
go to scale4x4rc.org. there are a lot of builds of these rc hilux yotas. the body is made by tamiya and the frame is more than likely made by axial. if you to the scale4x4rc site my username is oldskoolmini.
its easy to build one of those chassis. just take some aluminum square stock, bend it to the desired shape and size, then cut down the middle for c-channel frame rails. then just add crossmembers. right now im building a 1:18 scale dodge 3500 double cab prerunner. its conna hae the c-channel frame, full roll cage nose to tail and i'm gonna custom fab up some suspension control arms in front and trailing arms for the rear. andits gonna be hella fast.
I have a 7.5r Novak gtb I'll be using Always have a good radio.... My motor overpowered the radio.... No steering at wot ....
