Alright, I am presenting a debate. Would you rather have an 83 Longbed Deluxe 5sp or 1978 short bed 20r 4spd I have the 83 but could maybe trade for a 78?
both! 83 block 78 head, 83 5 speed in the 78 body 83 misc interior parts in the 78, sell the rest of the 83 on craigslist to recoup your $$$
I wish I could do that! Unfortunently, dont have the money to do that right now. The 83 is running well, but the interior and body could use some work. I am really liking the look of the late 80s though. That is my predicament. He wants 1500 for the 78 though. Out my price range! On another note, I am in the prep stages of starting a build thread for the 83. Just need to find the time!
yea it is a hard decision. But i believe that I am going to go with the 83 for now. I also have a sr5 parts truck that I am using for needed parts. So, if I have extra parts when needed i will sell them here first...if anyone is interested
awesome i definitely vote to keep the 83, annnd if u end up with an extra long bed in any shape i could definitely use it!

Yea, I have seen your work. It was good stuff. If i had a bed i would trade it with ya for some metal work. My metal work skills are elementary at best!
I would so grab the 78. Thats just me though. Love the quad headlights. Also dont got to many in Hawaii running around.
