im wondering whats the biggest diameter exhause i could run on a 22r with headers, and a sidedraft the stock motor has a 2 pipes 1.5 inch coming off of it so i would say 3 max or 2.5 im planning to run 2.5 let me no if you think thats to large

 

2.5 is good. Lots of guys like 2.25, but I had 2.5 and no complaints.

3in would be overkill for a stock internal motor, but thats whats going on my hybrid as soon as im finished with it.

 

2 1/2 would be the best,i myself as well as a hole bunch of four banger's run headers with the 2 1/2 exhaust.

2.25 is optimal for 22RE, 2.5 is optimal for 3VZ-E

 

haha..when i first got my 86 they had a tractor muffler with flex pipe tied up with hangers...sooooo we found a stock exhaust off a nissan pickup and it fit perfect...just had to share that...so im prob running the smallest
