wassup guys! i have a set of these rims and what stopping me from putting the wheels on are the smaller center bore on the rims... anyone know aside from predracer, had them on a Toyota truck?! wanting to know how much to bore out, do i need to use different lugs, spacers etc.... these rims looks great on older toy(predracer) but would also like to see them on 89-94 trucks.. thanks!!
yeah, they are 15s with our bolt pattern! i'm being careful, so checking around first. actually pic i posted is from the internet but i have the same ones... say whatssup to your dad for me.
I cannot tell you how much I bored, because I did not measure But I have the exact wheels on my 83. They are a beautiful thing!! Nice find! I do not need any lugs spacers, etc...just a little grinding and they fit....eh...like a glove goo luck
NIE,just have your center hub shaved to fit that wheel and you would pretty much be able to also run sum import tunner wheelz as wel.thats what opec pretty much did with the toyota 5 lug hub's before he insulated it on the body drop hardbody.
thanks, i don't think i have to run longer studs too but mine are 15s and definitely needed to be bored in order to fit. machine shops around my area charges an arm and a leg, so i decided to SLOWLY bore it myself with a die grinder. so far so good, before i can't even squeeze a lugnut in and now can tighten all five! pic below is just a teaser cause i still have to grind a little bit more to flush it all the way in. can't wait to have lower profile tires and have all the wheels on! might as well add another pic of the snow plow...
thanks man!! i see you also have an extra cab! one of these days, i will have the time to c-notch mine too!
no problem! i love xcabs, and then dually cabs If anything, just take your time with it. I was in a rush with my c-notch, so it's pretty ugly
Thanks!! yah, those pics were from 1995, during my hydraulic days and the next year we bodydropped it! i think i was dragging frame even before some of the members here were born! LMAO Kel > cool that you posted them!
