Do you have a 4 runner front end or reg. As for me, with my runner turn signals. I was able to find a 3 wire bulb socket with a double fillement bulb that mounted right in. Hooked both wires back up to the turn signal harness & then jumped the third wire to the parking lamp. So its always on like they were fog lamps, but still flash when signaling. (As for where to get the 3 wire harness. Good luck unless your here in Guam).

Your stock bulb socket is a single fillement. it can only do one function. For example if you look at your brake light bulbs you ca see a double fillement which enables it to stay on with your parking lights on, then get brighter when the pedal is applied. so the same with the signals youll need to get a harness which is like the brake in terms of functions. (double fill., 3 wires). your current set up only has 2 wires which tell the bulb when to flash. If you got a 3 wire harness then it could stay on by jumping it to the parking, & flash through its on regular function.

okay so let me get this straight...
if i get the double fillment..
all i have to do is run one wire from where??
to the bulb so it could stay on all the time??

your current bulb is single fill., & your bulb socket is only made for that. So thats why you need a bulb socket & harness for a double fillement, which will have 3 wires. you would then cut your harness & wire the new socket in (2 WIRES), & the third wire would then be jumped from the parking lights up top.

go get a extra set of tail lights, all you need is 2 light sockets.

take the socket for the brake/running light and trasplant it into the corner light housing.

    wire it up.

you want the socket with the 2 lil dots on the contact patch, and they also have the offset tab bulbs.
