welcome steve...glad to see you out...though i am not on here much it is good to see you still in the game.....and for those doubting his rev link kits i had one of the first taco setups when all the hating began....my truck is now on its 3rd owner and the setup is still goin strong...i put 20k on it before i sold it....who knows where its at now......heres a pic of another customers ride for you steve
The 98 White Tacoma you see is just my Daily parts getter. Lowered on 20's but nothing special. Beats the hell out of my old parts getter, a 2001 F150. The weekly Gas visits are now every 3 weeks lol
Yes I've sent quite a few parts to New Zealand. There's a great guy by the name of Nakija Klaus. I sent him a 98 Tacoma front Conversion kit for his 94 Toyota. He works for a badd ass Hot Rod shop there.
Hey Tony Rispoli, I hope I spelled it correctly. Hey how's everything going? Did you ever get your 4runner on the road? Just wanted to tell you and all on here, that how much I appeciate dealing with all of you. It's like having an extended family world wide. Tony your Taco has always been one of my favorites
Yep, next time you see him please tell him I said hello. He came here to California on Vacation and made his way to my shop. I was so please he would go out of his way I took a few hrs off work and took him and his father site seeing. We had a good lunch then he was off on his jouney. Good people for sure!
nope i sold the 4runner and i have anewer project.....frame is just about finished.....should be a rollin chassis early next year...i hope
Steve, let me officially welcome you to the site. it's great to have you on here. I've been into minis almost as long as you have. my first was in 1989 (85 720). you have some sweet looking projects going. look forward to see them finished. I had no idea you were involved with "skinned alive". maybe I should go read the mag again, lol. I always liked the green yota too. anyways look forward to seeing you on here
Welcome to the site Steve, I'm new as well. I remember seeing quite a few of your trucks and all amazing work (in the mag of course, not lucky enough or close enough to see them in person . Did you own Alter Images? I remember the green graphics truck? Just bought a similiar truck I had in high school, an 82 SR5 very lucky to have another chance, shes been well cared for and even better now(1st truck) I would bring it to you in a heartbeat if we lived closer, thats always the case, everthing we want is always too far away. I'm taking it into a guy I met on SSM (and in person) with a Luv thats looks like quality work, starting his shop, lots of postive comments on the site taking the truck in 1st week of October for a full bag job and stock floor B/D to be completed in 4 months or less, looking at getting it back first of Feb 09. I will post pics of the progress here and look forward to your input on them. Please let me know what you think I'll have to roll stocks for a year but the important part will be done and out of the way, wife says 1 major mod a year, will give me plenty of time to decide on a wheel right lol. I think its so cool Mini Truckin' is world wide, I fell in love in 87, seen my first lowerd Toyota truck, most beautiful thing I had ever seen, practically like looking at a beautful woman, no joke, but as a devoted Mini Trucker, I'm sure you know what I mean, some people don't understand us Mini Truckers, but the way I look at it is they have no idea the enjoyment they are missing, but you have to be a Mini Trucker to understand that. Keep up the great work Pete
