lol thats true, a little truck made of sheetmetal and plastic doesn't need 300+hp....although its nice to have :D Im just looking for something that'll be able to put the power to the road when I need it, I've already had 2 700rs mess up, they wouldn't shift outta 1st? I've never had a tranny rebuilt, I justwent to the local scrapyard and picked up another for my core charge & $50 bucks. and it has a temp. 7 day warranty. which really isnt bad conisdering its from a junkyard and it used parts. so I can't complain too much.

Hey Six, honestly I think its from a different year because I can see where someone has knotched out some of the plastic for the taillights, but they did an awesome job at it, they must have used a cardboard stencil because its even on both sides and fits in perfectly. But since Im not a farmer or a little old lady, I have no use for a liner :D

Hey V8. Honestly all I know about the engine is that the guy I bought it from told me, he drove it for 3 years, and tried to keep maintained, but he said that it slung #3 rod bearing which thus pulled the piston too far out of the cylinder, broke the wrist pin, and thus through the side of the block. Id be more than happy to sell it to you, and to be honest I've never bought or even sold a 4 banger, just always dealt with smallblocks. So make me an offer and we'll make it a deal. and I can hold it for you till you get a chance to make it up this way.

Oh also on the wire wheels deal lol, well its really my fault I bought them "used" and they were owned by about every guy that was in my old car club. And I didn't start having problems outta them untill I did something really stupid. I was told long ago that to run 13"s on lacs & lincolns that you have to either grind down the brake caliper so it doesnt hit the rim, or run spacers on the adapters to get it away from the caliper. And all in one weekend I extended my upper a arms a Inch and a half-(WAY TOO MUCH) and I knew that if you run big body spindles off a lac it will change your geometry and give you more lift to allow more spring to fit in the spring pocket-more spring=higher hop. So I went to the local junkyard and couldnt find a lac, but I found a Olds Delta 88 which was a big body and I pulled the spindles off of it, well I automatically thought the calipers would hit my rims so I also picked up some spacers. when I got it all back together I had an 1"1/2 of extension on my upper arms, ad then by putting the big body spindles on it extends them another inch, so I didnt know it but I had 2 & 1/2 inches of positive chamber :( also the studs that were on the big body spindles weren't meant for them, they were for a G body, and they werent long enough for those spacers, so the lugnuts apparently didn't have enough bite on the studs...you can see where this is going, well I was riding down the road with my wife (who was 7months pregnant at the time) and the car started shaking violently and I pulled over and double checked my knock offs to make sure they were all tight, and started back down the road, well the car started shaking again, and I went to hit the brakes when both front wheels (at the same time) flew off the car...one took out an old man's mailbox, and the other flew across the street almost hitting and scaring this 16 yearold girl to death, and I got the car stopped, called a buddy, he brought some more lugnuts, I got my wheels back on, tried to pay the old man for the mailbox but he wouldnt take any money, and I wen't home, apologized to my wife, and after that my wife never rode in that car again, alot of other things have happened with that car, it's almost killed me 4-5 times, lol the whole family says its cursed, my brother inlaw wont even sit in it because we were riding down the road once going to work, early in the morning and he was taking a nap leaned over on the door, and we had been on the road proally 10 minutes or so, and all of a sudden the door flew open and he woulda fell out if he didnt have the seatbelt under his arm, which held him up off the road, lol but honestly the only reason I had problems with my wires, is my own fault, so no worries, it just goes to show, you get what you pay for, and if you buy used wheels, don't expect them to be new :D
