Hey guys Dylan here from the other side of the world its raining hard here so was lookin for some more old skool utes and found this site and had to join. Im all about toyotas i have a hiace van with a 1jzgte and just picked up my new lil toy a New Zealand new 1977 hilux. The plan is to airbag it and drop a 1uzfe (toyota v8) and 5speed into it. Its a very common conversion in NZ in newer hiluxs but not pre 80s ,were you can buy a complete 1uzfe with trans and ecu for NZ$1500 (around US$1000). So what do ya think?
    Cheers
    Dylan
