    wanted kno whats the biggest cam you guys tried running on an efi setup...without the ecu freaking out...

    That's going to depend on other things like exhaust, compression, modded AFM, etc. I don't know, I'm just saying there's no one answer. Either way, from what I've heard the stock ECU doesn't handle a lot.

    ok well with that being said anyplace outder work on doing modification on ecu??

    That kind of thing you need to ask around locally since someone in cali isn't going to be much help if you're in new york.

    it'd be cheaper to get a low end standalone than get significant improvement out of the stock ECU. No I don't have any specific ideas other than something like megasquirt which is quite labor/skill intensive.

    CamCon or AEM FIC are good "less expensive" tuning options. I always tell people to find the shop FIRST that can do the work, ask them questions, then go from there. (unless you're going to tune it yourself, in which case you wouldn't be asking basic questions)
