Just to make ya jealous, I have a set of 17x8+35 BBS rims in the works for my 78. And those same rocking marker lights he found us. If you look in that old ad photo you can see the clear section.

Thanks man! Yeah we all need to get all these projects back out on the road lol.

And to answer SB's question the lights aren't Benz or Volvo its a headlight film usually reserved for Bikes but it comes in sheets and I like the brighter yellow, plus it protects the lights from debris or will keep the intact in the event of a massive strike. And nope im running no bumper, works style lol. Instead I've got an outboard oil cooler that will fill that location off of an FC RX7. And yeah its just rattlebombed, I used rustoleum ultra 2X cover gloss on everything but the center of the grill I used flat.

Sweet deal. I think the way the valance sorta kicks out looks like Jay Leno's chin. Or a snow plow. Same thing right?

And I didn't snag up those lights. I wanted to let you be the test mule for how well they are actually put together lol.

Are you going to use the factory valance or build something not so un-finished looking since you aren't running a bumper?

Well right now im going to be running that outboard oil cooler wich I won't actually hook up till next summer. But im thinking next summer I may try to get a chin spoiler from a MX** Cressida something like that but ill probably have to mod it a bit to fit correctly

    Little bit of news.

Got the bed back on and did some wiring cleanup on the tail lights and license plate bracket. Got the front lowered, cut out 2 turns as per standardbykers suggestion and also got the new shocks on in the front. It got dropped at the exhaust shop this morning and is there now so complete pictures on the way after I get it back.

Next she goes back up on the lift to reatach the speedo cable and e brake, assuming nothing for that was lost in the madness, and also to get the new rear shocks in place as well.

Hmmm then what. I suppose give it a quick fluid change, check the water lines, do a little road test for the brakes and give them a bleed and then drive the somabitch! Lol

    Got my corner markers today!

For being a re-pop they are realy well crafted actually. The lenses are very decent and the housing is cad plated to avoid rust and corrosion. The wiring seems solid and they came with bulbs so that's a bonus.

My only complaint is that the gaskets are not quite the right shape so using the stock ones may be the best option but they're ok.

Ill throw up some picks when I get the chance, maybe tomorrow.

Woot! Ok so I got the truck back and the zokusha pipes are a huge win! But youll have to wait for pics until I get her running all the way, thats why I need some help.

First Ive got a 22R Weber (temporary fix) carb on the truck with the stock manifold and I need some suggestions on how I should run the coolant lines. So some picks of someones coolant line setup would be awesome. This will also be beneficial once I slap on the side drafts.

Another one Im having trouble with is my headlights. Before the swap I had headlights and they worked fine but now Ive suddenly got nothing. Checked my cabin fuses and theyre ok. I recently wired up my tail lights and now they work when I hit the switch but now Ive got no headlights so I dont have a reason to think its the switch. Although I havent tried my brights yet.

    Nice work so far.

Does your truck have a headlight relay. Those can cause some headaches...

Zokusha pipes FTMFW! I effing love them! So frickin sweet! The pipes are also stainless! But... the muffler did turn out to be more effective that previously though so they are quieter than I want, we'll have to fix thet later.

To answer Raf im not sure if there is a relay. Later this evening when im home im gunna see if the brights work, if they do then maybe its just the bulbs. Sitting for so long maybe they just couldn't handle being on for very long and pooped out.

I guess, I personally dont like having any tail pipe showing at all.. but I know you say its cool. but where is the cool enough that everyone is doing it ?? ive never seen it, people have to be doing it somewhere unless you stole the idea from a chopper lol
