one of my wheel studs are stripped and unusable

i was wondering if it was possible to change the stud by myself with ordinary hand tools... without taking the whole assembly off and using a PRESS. i know the stud is cheap but id appreciate it if someone could help me with some directions on how to change it!

After taking the hub or drub off, I found the best friend for me was a trusty old socket and BFH ( big f'n' hammer ) worked great, Im sure alot of people have similar ideas, but, this worked great for me . . .

Hell, if your aim is good ( for the drum ) you dont/wont even need the socket, just pound it, dont go tarzan on it, just aggressively hammer it out . . .
