Could someone suggest to me a longer throttle cable that will bolt into my 86 pickups firewall and pedal, preferably something i can yank off some other Toyota at the yard. I really only need about 3" more inches. but i can work with more then that.

Did your truck come with a 22R originally? The 22RE cable is longer.

try a cable off a v6 equipped toyota pickup or 4runner. any year pickup or 4runner before 95 will work. thats what im using for my holley setup. bolts right in like factory (because it is) and will get you whatever angle and length you'll need.

Toyota supra cable should also work as well.
