    Well, I ordered my . . .

Well, I ordered my weld-on cantilever 4-link ( Ill be doing the controversal reverse setup  ) & 2500lb Front bag brackets from Candospecialties.com! Talked personally with Steve, hes an awesome guy, totally happy I bought from him, he went the extra distance to let me know of availability and when I would have the parts and personally thanked me for my order! That stuff rates hella high in my book, customer service is where its at, and Cando has it! Below are links of what I ordered and when I get all the rest of my stuff ( bags, tank, compressor, electric controller, digital psi gauge, etc. Ill be moving it into the shop and tearing into it. This will be a 4 way system with all the bells and whistles, got all my steel picked up and stored, got paint for chassis ordered and I am totally thrilled. Looking at mid July or earlier ( depending when the parts show up ) before I start :) !

Codes ---> Highlight and paste in Candospecialties.com search engine. . . "Some of you already know what and wheres its at!"

    Code: CD-4LKWELDCANTI ( Weld-on Cantilever 4-link )

    Code: 25frtoybrk ( 2500lb Front bag brackets )

Caongrats man, Can't wait to see how it turns out, I read your PM but I've been kinda busy today. Just tack weld everything up first and check it all before you weld it solid, the 4-link is very straightforward the front can be a bit of a pain in the ass(at least it was for me) but you bought Steve's brackets so that will make it a lot easier. But as far as it being controversial it is argued about by people all the time but they can argue all they want about it because there is a fact and that fact is that the setup works and is very efficient. I drive mine every day and I haven't had the first problem out of it. Steve is a very good guy to deal with and he will help you out in any way that he can, if he can't tell you how to fix it over the phone he will tell you to send him some pictures and he will help you out. Good luck with the build man, keep us posted with pics.

Thanks man, Im totally itching to get started, waitin on more parts to show up, but, Ive read the Cando myspace page lika bible, I Dream of them pictures  ! As for the controversial part, I want to be different, I dont want the same as everyone else, I want hella lift and with research I picked what best fit my needs. Let me tell anyone else interested in these parts, this isnt no dime store paper thin steel, this stuff comes to you perfectly welded, ground and clean & wrapped up better than a christmas present and let me tell you its some THICK a** metal, I totally have no regrets with my decision, and their customer service SOLD me. Highly recommended ! ! ! Thanks for the help Chopped . . .

ya know, when I had my windshield replaced a few weeks back, they asked before they came out if the molding was chrome or black and I told them chrome, After they got done(I wasn't there when it was installed) it looked as if the top molding had been replaced with a new one, but that was the only piece. If it had been replaced I dunno why they didn't replace the rest but it's a lot shinier than the other pieces and has no overspray on it like the other pieces, So I dunno.

    updates . . .

Well, more fun to add on. I went with 3/8" SMC valves, going to run 1/2" DOT approved airline off the 7 gallon tank supplied by the Dual Viair 480's. Got 3/8" brass ball valves for the dumps to slow down ( if I want ) the air. Changed my bags to the NEW Airlift Dominators ( rated up to 600 psi) Ill be running 200 max for now. They are very similar to the Slam Specialties RE6's & RE7's ( which are on backorder everywhere - except for the occasional price gouger ). Still waiting on peoples recommendations on shock brackets, if you have ideas and/or pics, lemme know. All in all, going to be starting on the 12th of July, just a few things left to collect and Im golden. Totally excited . . . First bagged minitruck in my small a** town, lemme tell you the responses and feedback Ive gotten  . Its amazing how many people wanna ride, Hell I can't even get people to ride with me anymore, they say the stereo is too hard on them :p . LiviN' it LOWNLOUD I am . . . Soon to be LOWERNLOUD

I do not plan on giving up itll be rollN this week, most likely Thursday 8 - 14. I tried budgeting for this build months back, and in the end it came down to order - order - order, alote of time spent in just researching and price checking. So all in all guesstamation wise around $2600 which isnt bad considering, Im building it myself ( saving loads of dough from having someone else do it ), plus, I get the pleasure of saying " I built this " Parts or things to think of when considering a build like this for the first time, is plan on spending money of grinding wheels, cutting wheels, welding wire/gas ( Got $80 in wire alone ), plan on getting grinding burns, black clothes & cuts and bruises. I did get a gash from a cutting wheel on my knuckle, it cut right thru the glove and its finally healed over. Plan on exra cash for brake line stuffs/fluid, and exhaust relocation. Lots of stuff to consider, the thing I kept telling myself is " . . . It isnt going to be easy and isnt going to be done in a weekend, but, in the end it'll be great!" I have so far about 55 hours in build/measure/double check measure/square measure/grind/cut/weld/wire wheel and sawzall time, but, in the end its hella worth it to be part of a unique group of people or mini owners sharing a passion for something that most everyone else does not even begin to understand. . . More to come all . . .

    Keep us posted.

I agree with you when you can REALLY say, "I built this myself".
I know that there are times that there are things we just can't do ourselves, but for us to take on things (big things) and do it is just real joy and pleasure!!!!
