I wonder what's in the box...

It was advertised as a free 22R motor for the low, low cost of 'OW MY F*CKING BACK!'

However, the box is sealed, and I need to open it up...

Anyone care to put in their $0.02 before we find out what's in the box?!?

I think either a 20r or a pile of dead bodies.

Eh, cannot bitch with free. I will probably sell the EFI pieces off. If the block is no good, then I can always recycle it. I kind of don't mind have a large box to put stuff into.

    Can't beat free! :waytogo:

Before you spend for the internals (pistons, rings, bearings, etc) make sure you know what 22R block you have. Looks to me like it's the early "non Laser" block w/domed pistons (82-84).

I might be interested in the lower half of the intake manifold and fuel rail if the price is right...

Yeah, I think it is the non-Laser, but I will do some more research to verify.

I'm kicking myself right now that I sold my old head since that seemed to be the only thing missing from the 'box'.

Hopefully I get this second job I'm working on getting. I'll net what I net now for my 40 hour a week job for only 20 hours of work. That should get me some cash flow so I can throw some money at the truck in a few months.
