Alright, as you know, I'm going to keep factory tire height. And when I get new wheels in the future, i'm sticking with the same height too. Anyway, I want to go lower up front. only restriction is that i need to keep my bumpstops on so i don't tear my treads off block by block. So how do i do it with the factory sheetmetal? i was thinking i could cut and weld it higher... If i can get it to sit 1-2" higher, i think i'd be happy. I'd like some input on this!!!
hey nam i'm sure you could use the raised stock metal, but a set of trailer fenders would be a hell of a lot easier, and look custom lol
I was thinking quick and easy! I have a sheet of sheetmetal, so when i raise it, any of the gaps i can probably weld in. I'd like to have a bit more info... if i had trailer tubs, i'd be glad to do it. I'm wondering where i should cut. space might be a little concern...
I've seen a yota that was bagged an he raised the stock inner fenders looked good but I don't remember where. Maybe on yotascene I'm not sure srry no help
You can cut the spot welds on the firewall and the core sruport, and it will be hard to lift it up around the headlights. Cus it's sport welder right below the lights. And you will need to take 2 or more out of the inner finer well cus it all part of the tube
i think the area where my intake and battery is at won't be cut and rewelded.. maybe. I'd like to keep the intake and battery in their current locations.
