hi my name is louis (lou) I just bought a 1988 pick 22R 2wd,4speed with an ugly wooden bed. I'm a toyota technician i been working for toyota for the past 6 year, however was never into owning a project car from toyota. i always bought nissans 240z as project cars but since I bought my truck i fall in love with but i having been able to find a bed in the Massachusetts area. my ultimate goal is to bill a drift truck and swap the 2.4 for the 2.7. if anybody fhas a bed for sale please let me know will post pict soon, looking foward to help the site with tech question and anyother support.
welcome to the site! good luck finding a bed, the crappy wooden bed on my truck has definitely been my biggest annoyance ive been looking for a real bed since i bought the truck but ive had no luck, hopefully itll be alot easier for u though

Bro, don't count that bed out just yet. Since you don't have a bed you have a chance to do something really bad a$$ed w/ that truck. I love the industrial style trucks that are done up. Here is a pic that may help you. Sure it is a nissan and it's Austrailian but the idea and looks are sound. My 79' was going that route till I decided the cab is to small for me. Now it is waiting in the wings till I finally get off my a$$ and do something w/ it. There was a blue flat bed on Streetsource that was just beautiful. If I find it again I'll post it.
