someone's excited.. there goes 20mpg to 12mpg because of a lead food I just found out my front pipe has a crack again... same spot... right above the TIG welds my friend made.. sigh
Yeah, I just need to contact my friends and see who's willing to let me use their welder... sigh, It happened last spring too!! oh well, time to take things off the truck and wait. open headers time.
Well its good to hear that your going to weld it this time. Aleast this way if it happens again you can blame yourself or you can make sure its done right. Whatever is first.LOL
It broke last time due to the clamp. A clamp held the front pipes to all bellhousings. Mine broke again and cause the fron pipe to flex too much. My friend TIG welded it, professionally (works on planes!) and it broke on the pipe... Next to the weld. It's true, your welds can be very strong... And your material very weak... Anyway, I'm at ihop with my friends. That was one loud 3 mile dive hahahahaha
not my truck..but today i ripped the dash out of an 07 tundra to replace the stupid immobilizer unit...300 dollar part....1500 in labor to get to it..
