It broke last time due to the clamp. A clamp held the front pipes to all bellhousings. Mine broke again and cause the fron pipe to flex too much.

My friend TIG welded it, professionally (works on planes!) and it broke on the pipe... Next to the weld. It's true, your welds can be very strong... And your material very weak...

Anyway, I'm at ihop with my friends. That was one loud 3 mile dive hahahahaha

    nice!

I finally finished up my c-notch.

After ****ing up the left side, I ran back to Lowe's to pick up 3/8thsx2"x2' and some more cutting discs.

Cut off the ****ty ghetto c-notch i made on the left side and used some cleaner parts and all.

what the hell was i thinking?!

    Turned my 90,000 mile 22re into $400...

Gotta love Craigs! Guy came over helped me pull the motor and gave me cash... He put it in his moms minivan... Lol!

That makes the $850 hit for the aluminum block 5.3 replacement a little easier to take!

I am so psyched about my motor swap!!
2005 GMC Sierra full motor drop out
    L33 5.3 310hp 335ftlbs Aluminum block zo6 heads
    Now I need to find a good t56 6speed

How much does the 22r and the 3vze weigh anyhow? This motor is supposed to be around 425lbs

the 22r isnt even close to 425...maybe 250, the 3vze might cross the 300-350 line..still not close to 425

today i finish welded my lower link bars and installed them again.

i had to buy a 1 1/8" tap because the plug welds i did caused the threads to get screwed up

but i got lucky and found a brand new tap on ebay for $11 shipped :D
