Since we don't have a rating and review section, I'll make my own. I order 4" blocks from Beefed Taco on streetacos.com, and made the mistake of assuming they were already made ready to ship. I was wrong and I put myself in jam. NO WORRIES, beef took the challenge and exceeded my expectation with another perfect job......and I received them one day before my undoable deadline. They look awesome and wednesday will look awesome on the truck. Heres a funny story,... My son meet the postal person at the door, brought the box to me and said "man dad this is heavy, what is it?. I replied those are my custom built lower blocks. Then he said well just put the box in the back of the truck, that should lower it at least 3inches". Any way for the long time members I now I'm preaching to choir, But for you new guys..... STREETACOS.COM gets A+++ Great service, great communication, great guy

Damn, thanks Mike, what a awesome thread!! I love the part about your son, hahahaha. I can't thank you enough for the kind words dude, it means a lot. When you told me you had a deadline I dropped everything and made and shipped your order to you with a quickness. I have a couple guys who have been waiting a month or more for their rock sliders, so I'm glad I could keep you out of that group... Thanks again Mike. Now where are the pics? :) Thanks to you also trap.

btw guys, Mike dug a little deeper and made the right move by staying away from the cheap mainstream kits and running a bullet proof rear kit that blows them all away, he'll have nothing to worry about back there now no matter how hard he drives the truck. Check your u-bolt torque periodically everyone. :waytogo: My prices look very high on my site & I'll explain why...shipping, plus everything else needed for the rear is already included into the listed price. Here is a breakdown below, and anyone can always contact me here in PM with any questions or a order & any item can be sold separately.

custom steel blocks any height tapered or non $56.95

custom 1/2" diameter grade 5 u-bolts made to fit axle & block correctly $55.95

custom fat 9/16" dia. grade 8 u-bolts (turbo trucks) $74.95
*ask SD YOTA how he likes his..no more stretching the cheapies every day*

rear bolt on low profile bump stops with Energy bump on the plate $35.95

    priority shipping & handling $16.80

Total for Mike's rear kit including shipping $165.65
(blocks, u-bolts, bumps, shipping & nothing to worry about)

Total for pep boys junk $32 (you'll still have $ for the tow truck)

Ive talked to beef about his products, especially his front bump stops, he wasn't sure they would work on my 86. but i bite the bullet and ordered a full set of lower bump stops. Im very pleased with them. i put 600+ lbs in the rear the other day and i still had a inch before the axle hit the frame. Im going to order his lowering blocks once i move. I have learned that sometimes its better to spend the few extra mulla to get a quality part and not have to worry about replacing it 6 or so months down the road.

Thanks agian Beef for everything you to for us!

What year is your truck? Can you run a 4" block without a notch?

Man I sure hope so or else I F'up. My truck is an 87 RN50. As I understand it, if you do not remove a leaf you can run 4" blocks. My truck is at a japanesse shop get a list of things done. Hope have it back Monday. Will post up pics then, or will post a rant:).

I'm sure it's pretty much just like the Taco's.....you can 4" w/o a notch but will hit on occasion if the bump is big or you have something in the bed. It should be a good daily ride 99% of the time, but you will most likely hit now and then. Anything beyond 4" will for sure require a c-notch, unless you like that thud sound in the rear or have some air shocks.

Sweet. Im still saving up for my 4" blocks too. Hope it fits on my extra cab. It was that or 4wd leafs. Anyone run mono leafs? Would it be ok to run a mono with air shocks. Another idea i had was mono 4wd leafs with air shocks. Anywho great products Beefed.

Beefed Taco, can we buy just the 95 and earlier 4 inch angled blocks and the U bolt kit without the bumpstops, if so, would we save on shippng as well?

What's that price to the door?
