what mounts do you use the stock 92 2wd doesnt line up do i need to fab some out or use stock 4runner mounts
you can butcher the 4runner bracket to make them fit or you can buy a set of 2wd to 4-runner bumper brackets from FBI
goodlooking out fellas ...fbi is out of buisness is there someone else out there that might carry them
My 4Runner bumper brackets bolted on with no butcher action. I made custom bumper end brackets. Fits nice.
All the information I have ever heard or read has said the the brackets will fit. I am using 2wd brackets on the 4 wd 4 runner bumper. If it work, why spend the 50 bucks? Just wondering?
the 4runner bumper didn't line up with the stock 2wd brackets on my 92. I used FBI brackets .. and rollpans.com is definitely FBI
Well my body shop guy just called me and sure enough the 4runner bumper is NOT a direct fit with the 2wd brackets. So as for me, I am doing custom mounting work, but I suppose those brackets would make it much easier.
I know the 4runner bumper/valance combo sticks out a bit more than the stock 92 2wd bumper/valance combo... But my question is do you guys think that it will clear my intercool which is 2.5" thick? I had to cut my stock lower valance to fit the intercooler and I want to cover it up.... I was just wonderng cuz I want to know before I buy the 4runner stuff and brackets from rollpan... I know it's hard to say but as long as there is 2.5" from the inside of the valance and bumper to the front rebar thing.... Thanks here's a pic of my intercooler on my 92 2wd the intercooler tucks behind the stock bumper nicely but I had to cut the valance to fit it
i think you should've trimmed the valance or get a 4wd front end... a little deeper, more room to play with.
Yes they will, but I've heard that they are a little different than the 4wd in the way the corner light fits. But I could be wrong on the second part.
K so i have the 95 4runner grille and some 4runner fenders then the corner lenes should be from a 4runner to then. It should all line up right?
