    Well honestly it does. It looks like that engine belongs in there! I love it!

    well I finally got my sound deadner .. and got a bit done .. WOW , this is maticulas work , and takin' alot of time !!

    and now have the pedals back in so now i can finish up the engine bay

    This is going to be the cleanest trekker out there. Are you doinf most of the work by yourself? If so damn. What do think the "competed" date will be?

    thanks .. Yes .. I have done ALL of the work myself .. and will continue to do so .. only thing I have "farmed" out is the paint and interior .. I was going to do these things as well .. but just running out of time ..


    as far as the time line .. it was supose to be done in JUNE 2010 ..

    finished up with the sound deadner (firewall area) .. so now I can finish up the dash and engine bay wiring

    Said it before, I'll say it again, by far the best example of a truck I have ever seen! Just perfect! What kind of sound deadening are you using?

    thanks again .. :) .. Sound deading is a Canadian product .. B-quiet




    one of the last things in the engine bay "to do list" is the front emergency cable ..

    got it all cleaned up - put together

    and installed :) with final connections .

    also started on the body harness .. got it in place .. and now installing the little circuts lke the door switches , dome lamp ect..

    almost ready to start looming the wires ..

    also got my dash pad back from the upholster , I'm very happy with it and now very excited to get the dash in place :)

    so continued working on the wiring today ..

    got the passender side all wraped and sorted .. and fit the kick panel :)

    Drivers side kick panel also installed after cleaning up the rats nest :) + the hood release cable

    and also got the main wire bundle loomed

    and ready now for the heater box and main dash body :)

    so installing the heater box today .. and looking at it , thinking I cant install it this dirty , so I decided to clean it up ..

    so I dismanteled it carefully

    and started cleaning

    heater core was very dirty and full of leaves and bugs .. so I'm glad I did this ..

    got everything cleaned and painted .. and ready to put back together

    and some new foam tape

    :waytogo:Dang its coming all together quick. Man i wish i can take my truck apart a go through the whole thing and clean it up. Keep up the good work and all the pics.
