Im trying to figure out what signal the choke on my 73 18r needs. I think it is just one wire, does it need a ground or a 12v, and is it only on start up? or constant when the key is on?

Funny thing is my 1977 20r choke isnt electric

I gots no truck, for now
its a key on power, and its 12v. The choke turns off when it warms up.

So it turns off by itself? So I could just run an ignition 12v to it?

    Thanks!
