damn, that sucks you're getting rid of it man. good luck with the sale. wish i had the money to buy that bad boy. you should just keep it and drop it a lil and get a stiffer suspension setup and fat tires aired to about 20 to 25 psi in the rear. some sort of coilover setup up front. that would be an awesome truck. you're gonna regret sellin it dude.

This truck is VERY RELIABLE. I make long trips all the time up to 5 hours each way and get 28mpg and never overheats. purrs like a kitten.

28mpg?! Thats 4-5 more than my 4-banger lol

I suppose it would be pretty efficient, as long as you stayed off the boost lol.

Is it you're daily driver now or something?

    Rodney,

Wife and I sincerely appreciated your genuine hospitality. It was an absolute pleasure to have met you.

As for your truck...what can I say?

Insanely fast is not even enough to describe the ride. I have to admit, when you initially punched it I damn near sh*t in my pants! I expected it to be quick, but that was just ridiculous...

Pinned to my seat I instantly forgot I was even in a pickup truck! Wicked sleeper.

    Thanks, man.

NIce! How exactly did you get the truck through emissions testing and inspecton?

So in other words, you are saying that you have no clue how to get it legal? :D

The swap can be perfectly legal. Has to be completely stock with all the stock emissions from the car you are pulling the engine from, and everything has to work. once thats all good then if you live in CA you have to get it ref'd and CARB legal at the BAR. but if you live in a state where they require just emissions then you just have to make sure it burns clean.

In other words, Check you state laws then you'll know what can and cant be legal.

Since I live in Cali. An where my girlfriend lives is a Smog once an if it passes you don't have to smog anymore. If I register my truck up there an smog it then do the swap how legal do you think that'd be? Haha

Yeah you are right. My bad for just spouting off questions instead of researching. I would get it registered in Az and I believe it just has to pass the smog part. Thanks again.
