in checking the plug that has 3 wires black/red black/white black/yellow..

    black red is poitive..
    black white is ground
    black yellow is ground

when i was cranking it would ether completly loose signal or power would turn in to ground black red,???

ive always heard that if your going to power wash a EFI car to do it while the motor is running to prevent things like that.

as to how it would help to have it running, you got me.

I used to always wash my previous trucks, 2 were EFI, and I wash the motor on this one all the time without it running. I have yet to have a problem.
