Its insane to think that something like has happened. The first time I saw a pic of it I thought it was fake, then I saw the video.
I've been to Zone 2 (where this sinkhole is) in Guatemala City a couple of times (pretty scary place), and hiked the Pacaya Volcano that blew up a couple of days before this, too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFoF57KX2yU I was amazed nobody kept us from walking so close to the lava that people's shoes started melting. I guess that's better than getting hit in the head with falling lava rocks (like the reporter that was killed) Maybe those Mayans knew something bout 2012 after all...
