while sliding my 78 around a freeway offramp coming off of I-5, my battery came loose, and slid to one side and somehow sheared my positive lead. Here i am, under the hood of the ol' lux, on the side of the freeway, for no more than five minutes when two Toyotas pull up at the same time. i couldnt help but laugh. one was a 78LB like mine, but it looked kinda like standardbykers, but not as low. and the other one was a slammed 2gen Xcab. these strangers walk up and say "whats the matter ,brother?". i explain myself and the dude with the 78 says he has an extra positive lead at his house. so i hop in his truck, and the 2g follows us. we go get the part and they helped me put her on, more or less(stood there and bullsh!tted while i installed the part) and on top of it the guy kicked down a grille emblem. random toyota guys have good karma coming. i fully believe if it wasnt for my truck no one would have stopped. hahah i invited both the guys to TM, hope to see them soon
haha i know. but i had to give the people a visual reference of his truck. and thats the closest one i could think of.
I carried a guy to get a flat fixed cause he had a toyota. I was in my chevy van at the time though. I do it as a karma thing. What goes around comes around. Hopefully someone will lend me a hand one day. Nice story
