Use a LC engine, I have their Pro Street EFI, plenty of power,& gets 25 mpg,can be supper charged or turbo ed. They built it,balance & blue print it,dyno crate & ship it ! If you go with them, use anything they recommend.

About all I can point you towards is supracharged.com. As for me I've been working on my project car these last few months hence my lack of being on here. Also means that my truck is likely on hold for mods until I graduate.

i would go with a gm ls series engine myself, light and so many options to go with. stock or stroked out, junkyard or new, from a vette or a truck, they all have so much potencial.

I want to go with a 2rz into my 92 pickup. anyone seen or done this need some input on this also like bellhousing and mounts is it pretty much though. 2rz or 3rz reliable and good power and decent mpg. I already got a supra with a 1uz.

I'm thinking a 3rz turboed swap would be great!

my truck is off the road and in pieces... no doors or fenders...

I am planning on a GM 5.3l aluminum block flex fuel engine (this is a corvette ls7 block underbored) and a t56 6 speed tranny with really tall gears like 2:90's

Going to shoot for 30+ mpg and 325 horses...!

I will also be going to a ford rear axle with posi and a 4link setup with coil overs front and rear....

On that note, I hope you're doing a write-up on that swap MTB, that would be sick.

I know this thread is old
but i didnt want to start a new thread
im really considering a 1uz swap
and was wondering how the ride quality would be
i'd figure it wouldnt be so good since
all the weight is up front and basicly nothing in the back...
but i wanna add power to my truck....

1uz weighs about the same as a 22re so as far as weight in the front goes you should be fine

eventually, im going to be swapping a motor into my truck.
i'd like either an sr20det or an rb26dett for the notorious power/size benefits.
but i am definately open to suggestions...??

I'm coming into this late, but i voted 1uz, Also if you want to make it manual, you do not have to make anything custom or order anything from Australia, I sell a full manual conversion kit for either the W5x or R154, Check it out. www.quantum-auto.com

I still really think an sr swap would be super easy. Not to mention extremely cheaper compared to an rb. Especially a 26. A 25 would be cheaper but still much more than an sr.
