Hey TM'ers! I've been running into a problem with all the wheel/tire shops around here. Everyone is telling me they either don't have 18's to fit my truck or can't get anything with a lip. So what would like to know is what size wheel (including width) you're running and the offset. Please help me out! :meemee:

Im not running rims right now but my last set was 19x8 +42 offset

They rubbed the strut rod tho. try some 18x8 with like a +30-ish offset.

Maybe even something in the +20s would look good.

Thanks for the info guys! Toyota530, do you know the offset of your wheels.

EFnetOper, I like your wheels. Diamo 25 Karat right?

I do have 2/3 drop and don't plan on bagging it.

Yep, that is correct sir. I have 2" belltech drop spindles and bj flip....haven't touched the torsions yet. I need to cut some away before I do.

8.5 and a high offset will definitely rub the strut rod. As i said, low offsets will fill the wheel wells nicely

Mine never rub. Maybe it's because of the spindles or the fact that they are 20s.

My offset is +40 but I have a very long turning radius since I installed the spindles....I haven't adjusted the steering stops on my spindles yet but I gurantee you they have never rubbed...I remove and polish the insides and outsides of my rims all the time and would freak if there was any wear.

I am looking at some right now, 17X7.5 with a +38 offset. i thinking that should work pretty good. going to run 205/40s. Sound about right???

    225/40 has more meat, less stretch than a 205 on a 7.5"

Idk y im so scared to fck up one one my wheels on a pothole.
