Well let me start this thing off by saying, most of you may or may not know, but, Texas has a new law that requires 18-24 yr olds to take a course in order to apply for a license...
here is a quote from that bill/law...

here is the link to that bill/law..

    http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/director_staff/public_information/pr022510a.pdf

this STUPID, yet smart, law took effect March the First... and I turned 18 on the 23rd... i was like "Damn you Govt.!!! but oh well, reason this post being titled, FINALLY, is because I have Finally completed my ONLINE Drivers ED. Course... now i'm waiting for the certificate to get here and go to DPS, and then, Heee, hee, (As MJ use to say (r.i.p.)..)

lolz, but yeah, opinions guy's on this sort of new, yet old law?

(I.M.O., this law is great for those "wannabe thugs" that way, they won't just skim through the book... also, less wasted time at the DPS with the tests and all, all we gotta do now is take the driving test and we set *****!!! lol...)

Hopefully they will focus on a more advanced driving test. no offence to you .. but STL drivers need something.

I hope states start doing something similar to elderly folks. I think they should take a written and driving test every 2 years or so after a certain age. I think they should do this cause I've been hearing of alot of elderly people accidently hitting the gas and going into a building when they meant to hit the brake. I even saw a elderly lady doing about 35-40 on a 65 mph freeway yesterday. People were swerving around her.

maybe az should get something similiar. 6 hours isn't even a whole shift of work.

last time i was in a traffic school (for drag racing... :( ) all of the girls (it was a juvenile class) were in for rear ending people.

all i had to do to get my license is take a written test for my permit when i was 15 and 7 months. then when i turned 16 go to the dmv, perform a 3 point turn and take a 2 minute "test drive".

congrats on getting your license tho! :waytogo:
