Since you are a newbie I think you might be thinking of a ball joint flip. The ball joint bracket gets unbolted and moved to the top of the arm.
newbie..lmao...i hate being a newbie...lmao but i know what a BJ FLIP is..but i heard some people doing A arm flips..so u take the driver side a arm and flip it and install it on the passenger side and u do the same for the other side. i never seen one b4 but ive heard..and no ones helping me out!!...haha.
wats up bro!! you from hawaii? if so im am too and actually i will be doing one on my truck tomorrow so ur lucky..ill take some pics for u and send u some...seem wack but it works in lowering ur truck also!!!
A am flip is mainly for wen ur bagged and the BJ binds up and wont let u lay or steering seems to bind up. Also pie cutting the arm is another thing that has been done for the same reason. Doesnt seem like anything you could use for a static setup. Atleast from all ive seen/read
im doing it for clearance issues because my steering shaft rubs my a arm and its sucks but if it was flipped i dnt think it would so im taking a chance wether itll work or not..i hope it works...and ithelps to lay on bigger rims..i heard some using it on dropped trucks for 2inch drop or 1inch ..
