I recently bought a '94 4wd regular cab. It has a gray bench seat. A friend sold me a set of gray SR5 buckets that came out of an '87. How difficult will it be to make the switch? Also, I'm missing 2 of the knobs and the recline & release handle for the drivers seat if anybody has some to sell.

Um....unbolt bench, bolt up buckets. That's about it.

You will need 4 more bolts.

There's no holes to drill, no brackets to modify or anything?

Remember there maybe a nut missing, for both the passenger and driver's seat where the tranny hump is. Not all 94's have this bolt welded in to the underside of the floor, mine didn't. Other than that, it's a simple swap!! :D

One last question, what about the seatbelts? Where do they bolt up?

Thanks, I really appreciate the knowledge. All I need now is the handle and the knobs for the drivers seat. Thanks again!

mine had a 60/40 split bench in it and when I put my 4runner seats in I had to modify the bracket on the drivers seat nearest the tranny tunnel. I drilled a hole in a piece of flat steel and welded it onto the existing bracket and it worked out very well. as far as seat belts if you didn't have the holes for them already in your truck you could just get a longer bolt and bolt it down with the seat bracket.

You will need to cut into the channel from underneath, and either weld a nut in place or with help just hold the nut there while someone tightens the bolt.

There is a thread out there on doing this, I just can't remember if it was here or yotatech or yoda scene.

I was in a hurry to get mine in, I have only 3 bolts for each seat to hold them down. Got to get that fixed one of these days
