sooo tell me what you think about these.

keep in mind, my set up isn't an all out sound system, just a regular easy going setup. I just need an amplifier to run a 12" dual ohm voice whatever you call it Subwoofer. just need to run it to compliment the bass.

the first or last, the motorcycle amp and that 4 channel mb quart have no balls whatsoever.

If I had to choose between them I would go crunch.

the box itself, I'm planning to narrow it and adding a port hole (it's missing one.)

4" in my dash, 6x9's in the rear, and a 12" that needs to be hooked up, bad.

In all honesty, I don't need flashy stuff. :)

and cheaper the better, up to $100 sounds good, $150 is a maybe

since its a dual 4 ohm speaker, you have the option of running it at either 2 or 8 ohms... all the amps you posted give their max power at 4 ohms... the alpine makes max power at 2 ohms

What he said! The Alpine V-Power are great amps for the money. As far as the box, make sure its to the specs of the sub, otherwise its not gonna sound all that great. You can go to a Kicker dealer and they should be able to tell you if the box you have will work. I do recommend not putting a port in nox that doesn't have one already. If it doesn't have a port, there is a reason. Its a sealed box.

the box itself is about 2 cubic feet, from looking at it.
and its sealed. i'll leave it alone. maybe widen it but narrow it. I'll place it behind my seat, but i still want to recline :D

    I'll look at the alpine

I talked to a fellow friend of mine

he had a pioneer or alpine amp.. i really forgot actually. it was some 300W amp that can max out at 600W. he'll give it to me for $60, which doesnt seem to bad. We'll see how this goes once i get mula.

Just make sure it's a mono amp and is 2 ohm stable. That way you can get max output out of the amp and sub. And they will perform better.

quick disconnects make it easy for theives to steal your stuff in the parking lot. If you really want to make it hard to steal your stuff BOLT THAT BITCH DOWN and use some tamper proof screws.

unless you are trying to work out or something:shrug:
