So i get an PM from a guy off in dragguam.com askin on some advice to drop his truck.... we shortly get to suggestions and asks if id take on the job. so he brought me the truck down here and shortly after 4 hours later, here's where he now sits.

before......... truck had a real mild (by mild i mean hardly noticeable) drop on his truck from a previous guy. the new paint and wheels looked killer but lacked the stance to show off its aggressive features.

So Gil619 needed a slight altitude change and came to me for the right remedy........ here's what happened.....

    before.... 1/1 drop....

rear tire to fender gap was better than stock but still waaaay open. ~3 1/4 inches open.

front was no better at about 3 1/2

after...... 4/3 drop. front 1 1/4 inch b/j flip and brought down the rest of the way via torsion to total about 4 inch drop.

Looks badass! Nice work! I love it when a Yota gets closer to Mother Earth. What size wheels and tires are those?

 nah man......... i just tend to have my fingers in every toyota pickup forum around here..... i was doin research on somethin and someone had mentioned that site so i checked it out too..... every forum has different stuff no matter if its the same type of truck forum...... so i tend to gain more knowledge lurking through other forums.......

i think im a member of a forum strictly out of australia too but i forgot the name of it...... i lost my favorites and bookmarks upon a computer service so i lost allot of login keys :doah:

so yea....... i whore around forums

dont worry, i told Gil about this site. its a bit more toyota based than the dragguam one since its more so generic to guam automotive with all other brands mixed into the site. told him this was a more toyota pickup purest site. said he'd come check it out.

That's almost exactly where I want mine to sit. I'd just have the back a little bit higher - probably 1". Just for some room and a slight rake. Right now I could go 3/3 and still look tall.

I'm going with a ball joint flip and cranked torsions in the front, lowering leafs in the rear. Should help a LOT.

    Looks really good man!

    Yeah

I'm kidding, honestly, my truck is nowhere special as any of yours.

But in all seriousness, spread our community :)

btw there's no Toyota trucks out here... most of them are just really really really really stock or from out of state :(

yea, he wasnt too keen on the rake idea but he said if it make it look good to do it........ so i gave him a very minimal rake lean. the front tires stuck up a bit more fender to tire gap than the rear but he loved it when he showed up so thats all that counts......

me personally i like the raked look. gives a bit of a hint to the old mini truck style where they'd jack the rear of the trucks way up in the air while leaving the front lowered. no to that extent but just a hint to it....... looks good :waytogo:

all the more reason for you to represent man :headbang:

Here it is Alex. I haven't been on in ages though. I remember everyone had completely different lingo than I'm used to, that's for sure...they didn't even know people lifted (or especially lowered) trucks with blocks! Anyway Alex, mk1 looks diggity mate!
