After a couple weeks of reading your guy's post i decided to go through a few modifications, lowering, rear bumper removal, and a blinker and parking light swap. turned out good overall exept i have a couple qeustions. while cranking my torsions i could not get my drivers side as low as the passenger. it was harder to turn and i cranked on it forever. is it as low as it will go? and is there a sensor or switch that i can adjust my blinker speed lol. after i did the switch there like freakin rave strobes. thanks yall
for the blinker, you will need to swap out your stock thermal flasher for an electric flasher. you can find them at any parts store. that will slow your signals back down to normal. as for your torsion bars, did you move the truck at all after lowering one side? it will need to settle and the suspension may just be bound up in sitting in one spot so move it around and roll it back and forth a few times to settle the suspension down. also make sure that the bolt threads showing up top from where you are loosening them are pretty much even.
yea, i realize the swap you did but it now illuminates the marker light as a blinker now right? meaning the difference in bulb amperage now there is less load so the flasher blinks like crazy....... it needs a certain amount of pull in order to flash normally. swap out the thermal for an electric and it will work fine
