Id say yes because a knock sensor works with the timing by telling the ecm if theirs ignition ping

Is your engine carbed...if so, you don't really need the knock sensor. Or at least i've never used them on carbed 22r engines. You could always get LCE's pro distributor and not have to worry about the computer...I've always yanked mine out anyway.

Has anybody ever tried wiring one up to a light? I have a pretty loud exhaust when its revved with the windows down, so you can always hear if you have any. It would help me get it set to a maximum. I don't know how complicated the system is though. But it would be a cool idea to work into my gauges/warnings

I put one of these in a ford truck.

That with a msd in-cab timing control = awesome.

Allows you to up the base timing (and get more power/gas milage) on the fly without hurting the engine. But it easily ads up to a exspensive ignition system. (because you need a MSD box. like a 6A)

Based on your general attitude, it was meant as a joke. But without any other content to your post, that could be misconstrewed as a hateful/derogitory post. I come to this site because I don't see drama. If you have a problem with someone, please handle it via PM or contact loudnlow-moderator/Jeff-admin.

Again, if you have a problem with someone, the general forum isn't the place to handle it.
