I bought a 93 extra cab v6 5 speed tranny 4x2 pickup. I bought it in january 2010 has minor rust under the bed when i bought so one day my friends decide to take it out to check the chassis for rust on top, then we find a big rust hole on top of where the muffler goes. So the hell with it, it's the one big rust on the entire pickup. That same day i cut the stock muffler and put a magnaflow on sounds great going to remove the cat next. Bought on ebay chrome mirrors and a new tailgate handle. The last thing i got for it was toyota supra rims that i had to polish cause they were like crap, still deciding on what color to paint the center caps to go with the polished rims. Have the speakers on the floor temporary Tell me what you think i can do to it to make it look better, the guy at the aligment shop i went today told me that it is impossible for the pickup to have a v6 engine when it is not 4x4. I didn't know what to say i bought it like that, he told me come look underneath so i can see how close the engine is to the firewall and how the exhaust almost doesn't fit down the firewall. I this true? How can i find out if this engine came on it?
That guy (alignment shop) has no clue... But Ya, these truck do come with v6, which is known as the 3vze motor, but to many people, this motor has lots of problems like head gasket ect.. but i think its a good motor if you treat it right. These truck come with either the 4 cyclinder 22re or the v6 3vze. anywayz, whats your plan with this truck?
V6's came on 2wd's and 4wd's. hence you have arrived here, we have the info you want and welcome! doesnt look too bad though!

The for the info... i plan to paint it some day but not in a hurry going to put a sound system soon. I'm using the pickup to work and its great the engine is healthy has good power can turn the tires to smoke really fast, only needs valve cover and crank case gaskets changed, and the clutch witch is going in on monday
yes those trucks came with the V6, for a better example, the uhual toyota dually trucks, they mostly have v6s. I think the guy at ur alignment shop needs to research abit before saying things.. oh and welcome to the site.
Thanks i will tell him on monday, i have to go back cause the steering wheel is alittle off and it goes to the right sometimes
Maybe he should concern himself with how to do a proper alignment and not what motors came in these trucks.
