The ones that just sell you boxes with stuff in them without knowing what they do.

Honestly do it yourself. Its really easy to do. and saves u an assload of $$$

good point. ive always installed my own. you can find keyed power to let the deck know the truck is on really is. or do like i do and run your own power cable and a toggle for the switched power to the deck. so i dont have to have it turn on everytime i start it up. and so i can listen to tunes without the keys. it simplifies things, and leaves factory wiring alone. its 1 power, 1 switched power, a ground, and 2 pairs of speaker wires. you can handle that i think. show us the dash youre working with.

do like im doing. bucket seats and a custom fiberglass center console that can handle a doubledin dvd player :) with a couple cup holders and a sub in the back. win win situation :) just make sure to mold around the transmission.

im doing basically the same. i used to have it in the dash, i moved the single din to the console im building. sub will be behind my seat. and i think im gonna mount a few gauges where the stock hole is located. still working out the logistics of what goes there. maybe just a black filler panel. i dunno.

heres a shot of my console thus far. ill have it finished in the next couple weeks. just getting a vinyl wrap

well, post some pictures and we might have suggestions for you.

and its actually a metal jager bucket. i got it when i bought a half gallon. also came with a pump, and about 50 plastic jager shotglasses. was a few bucks cheaper than just the bottle. i also have a jager tin that holds fifths that will be my new radiator overflow. i sorta love the stuff. lol.
