What's up guys! I just bought an 87 2wd toyota with a blown head gasket (at least that's what i'm hoping for!) and thought I would check out the site for some info!

I do have a few questions! Where are ya'll buying your parts? links? I'm of course going to be needing at least some gaskets for the 22r. I'm also in need of interior parts such as a/c vents, door handles and surrounds, and etc. Also, what year model 5 speed tranny will be a bolt in swap for my 4 speed?

    Thanks
    Trey

Sup new guys? :D Welcome to TM! I've found www.rockauto.com to have great prices on a lot of smaller parts, just watch out for the shipping costs on big stuff like fenders and bumpers. Most five speeds from trucks similar in era to yours should work. It's pretty universal, but someone should be along here at some point with the specifics for you.:waytogo:

Welcome to TM! I've found quite a few parts at local junk yards. I even bought my grille and bumper new at a junk yard.

Texas is scarce of yota's. Junkyard if you can find one, but our southerly neighbors like em too much. Colorado was full of them.

Engnbldr for rebuild stuff. LC engineering if you got money. Look on craigslist too.

I did a w58. Any celica supra (I6), non turbo 7m supra, or 5 speed credessa. They are the shiz! 0.7 overdrive, all aluminum close(r) ratio 5 speed..

Need a W series to 22R/E bellhousing and a little tranny mount fabbing. A speedo recalibration if you NEED one.

pics are real easy, either post the photobucket link, or you click post reply, then go down to manage attachments, new window will pop up, click browse and then find your pic, double click, then click upload, and repeat the browse/upload until the pics you want to upload are done, then just close the box and click submit reply. lol sorry i'm a lil pushy. i just wanna see some pics. lol
