The fixture for shaping the body jam hinge plate

 

A little heat makes this a lot easier

 

Some more forming @ the ends( a curve ),& we can tack into place & check the swing!

 

Revised pocket is in!

 

And it swings

 

Now stitch in all in & get to the front of the door!

Started on the latch end

 

This is all that 's needed from the drivers door latch side end plate. The whole plate was remove though to make room for the hinge end plate from the passenger side

 

Tacked into place. The top cut is 8" down from the top of the window edge,this was the area most open @ the inside of the door for the latch.
Will put the latch in place & locate the matting piece @ the front pillar& test

 

Cant wait till this is done, id do only the driver door, and people will be like WUT?

I want a RHD truck. Or a middle hand drive truck and drive in the middle of the road LOL

Thank you! A lot of work ,yes,& worth every minute!
The handles will be the stock ones,I have 4 Runner doors.
Will have to modify ,or make new rods.
Also have a pulley set up if needed!
