Well said ! ! ! I just got the hookup for a 77' that runs for 250$ and very minimal rust, and a beautifull mint green  , the guys a ford lover and uses it to haul garbage, other than that it sits there screaming to be restored to its formal stuff. MONEY well spent, and Ive got just the spot for her. Seems the FORD will be hauling the TRASH on its own ! ! !

Yeah we love pics. You have a real nice toyota there. most of them now are rusted out and barely run. that one looks great.

    UPDATE!!!

    Got the interior started.
Got the jambs painted, frame painted, and rims painted.
Got the carpet in,lower dash painted, center console in,and one seat..lol
I put the glass back in it so i can drive it to work this week and mess with why the front end has so much slop in it at lunch.

Please forgive the pollen on the truck....its everywhere right now.
thats the main reason i cant paint the truck.
That and i dont have all the body work done yet...lol

Im waiting for the carpet to completely dry,and then im going to "lock" the dye in with spray carpet dye over the RIT.
It looks awsome now,the flash is picking up weird colors that are not really there.

    PICS!!!!

Also, digging the spare tire, I dont think Ive seen a mini on here modified or not with one in the stock location, or with a " real tire " ! But, then again I havent looked that close for one either :D, Im used to looking for tanks or compressors :)

    lol.
I actually spent some time cleaning up the spare.
The truck will be black.i have shot the door jambs, and will do under the hood this weekend....if the pollen lets up that is......

as a side note....i could not belive how nice the frame on this thing is...
There was actualy 60-75% of the original paint still on it!

No rust AT ALL..just a little surface stuff i knocked off with a brush.
I almost want to pull the cab, just to clean up and protect the whole thing.

Nice work. I never thought to make your own. I was looking for some from another vehicle that would fit.. Now I need to find some new turn signal buckets!

lol.i just blasted mine with some chrome looking duplicolor stuff i got.
    Holding up well so far.
ya,just took some 1/4 lexan, used the old lens as a pattern, and cut it out with a jigsaw. sanded till it was the same, then used a 1/4 countersink bit to do the holes.
took me all of 5 min's.
i did have to use some ultra clear silicone to seal it.and i modded the bucket to get the bulb out from the back...lol
that took more then 5 min's.......haha

reading a lot of the magazine tech. articles and car/truck shows are probably some of the best tutorials, .. i do paint and body, so if you have any specific questions i should be able to help if needed.. there's a lot of wierd little things with the chemicals and different products that make some big differences. keep up the good work. Ben

    update!
I messed with Larry...that's what i named the skull face in the bed...lol

I called my bro and he told me what he did to stabilize the bondo more.

I built up the area with fiberglass and mat till i had a nice base.
Then I took 75% bondo, to 25% bondo fiberglass hair resin and mixed them, added both activators sparingly to give me a good work time, then mixed and applied.
I will have to finish sanding it all out this week and apply one more finishing/shape layer....And a boat load of sanding.

Its all only about 1/2 inch thick so far, so i should be gold :)

    PICS!

Ya...its still in the rough stage, and i don't have the final shape correct yet...I have to build it as i go.
i have only shaped it a little with a dremel sanding wheel.
