Hey guys whats up, newb to the site but not toyota. Just got my 3rd toyota. First 1 was a regular cab tacoma on 35's. 2nd is an extended cab SAS'd on 37's and now a 94 2wd v6 extended cab I'd like to drop! anyway enough blabbing and on to the pics. Traded my dirt bike for this.
ya seriously how gay huh its got a 2" lift on it....Oh its coming off hahaha I havent had a sec to look though i dont know how they got 2" out of it. Its supposed to be a fabtech. So i dunno if its a spacer? or coils? or what. Hopefully it can come off and go back to stock with out any extra stuff. Otherwise its gonna be on there till I get spindles and stuff...
lmfao, its already lifted, screw lowering it. get some long arm suspension and **** going on! xcab prerunner baja style!!!!! looks good though! I gotta say, if that lift is fabtech, someone has actually spent pretty good money on it....
lol i would almost tell ya i will mail my 3" blocks to ya for the fab tech lift but i don't think i really want to go up i might get a nose bleed j/k
LOL plus what am I supposed to do when you email me your blocks? print em out? lol ahhhh you beat me to the edit!
hehe yeah i posted and noticed what i typed been up since 6 lol and have to go to work again @ 10.... ahh i love working... i did get my clutch today though wewT!!!
i think the fabtech lift for the 2wd 88-95 is a 3 inch lift. they could have got that much lift out of it by just flipping the spring mount making it leaf over axle instead of leaf under axle and adjusting the torsion bars. but if they made it leaf over, you would have a hell of a time getting it as low as you wanted unless you got levels, stands and are one good welder. or you could have always gone to a junk yard and got a stock one. wow, i went on for a lil bit with that what if. lol. oh well. good lookin truck. good trade too. welcom to tm
anyone in AZ wanna help get it lower? I looked under today and saw it has a body lift too....Seems like more work than its worth to lift it? I mean its 2wd LOL Tried looking to see what was done under the front for lift. It has fabtech upper a-arms, but dont know whats stock and aftermarket after that. The rear has fabtech shackles and matching fabtech shocks all around.
Welcome to the site! My suggestion... Start replacing anything that looks aftermarket with stock stuff and go from there.
Is there anyway to adjust the clutch? It likes to engage right at the floor. Where all my other vehicles are like in the middle or so? Is this a sign the clutch is getting close for a new one?
there is an adjustment at the pedal to take away the slop. try bleeding it out with fresh fluid too. but all my yotas are always down near the bottom.
Thanks, David saw your build thread really liked the truck with the dodge magnum wheels did you have any issues running them?
also has extended shackles. If my truck already had that, i wouldve gone prerunner style... axle under leafs.... take that bugger to teh desert!
