upgrades for 79

    what are the best upgrade for more horsepower
    on low budget

    78 lolux and an 89 ramcharger
    first start is putting good plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and an aftermarket coil. then would be to install a weber, they can be found and rebuilt used. the adapters are available seperate of the kits. next would be a header. pacesetter makes a nice one and is the cheapest. then run a simple system out from there. if you arent super low, its not as bad. the pacesetter hangs a little low at the collector. and the frames dont have tall enough exhaust notches to tuck a pipe above frame. keep us posted how it goes from there.

    electric fan is a good one also, get one from the junkyard $10 or so. flexlite has a heat sensitive kick-on switch for fans its like $50
