jeff, can you change the permissions of the forum to allow posts to be edited for more time than a day or whatever it is now??

it kinda sucks if you want to change something and can't.:brickknock:

Yeh, we can definitely change it, but the fear is that someone will go back into their own post after a loong time and edit their post to say something completely different. As you can imagine, this could be a problem especially in the For Sale section.

can't you mod it for a certain forum? i see your point, but for build thread type posts it'd be nice.

Agreed, especially for updating wanted parts lists within the build thread.

yes and telling people it is sold, so they dont go reading it and wasting time on something already sold.

I am having to start a new wanted thread for every time I want a part b/c we can't edit opening post. Or when selling multiple items can't mark sold or add new item. Not good. This would also be good on meet/event threads to add details or members who will be showing.

    That what mods are for

Parts bins shed sales part outs... thats why I've done several and I prefer to edit the original thread. 1 item here and there whatever but random number from the list..I don't think jeff wants to see that.
