I need some help guys and ladies. Since tax season is just around the corner I'm looking early for where I need to look for a nice set of rims and tires. I mean I have looked in tons of magazines and some websites, but i just can't find the ones that stand out to me. Can anybody point me into the right directions.

yeah. mustangs, probes, crown vics (if you arent super low), ect. mitisubishi has some cool stuff too. as does later toyota/lexus. stocks are a good way to go for sure.

buuut, i say some 16" 5 spoke S2000s would be sick.

you can never go wrong with OEM wheels that have good taste.

Volks, Works, Rays, GramLights, Advans.... gawd they cost more than my truck....

the mustang/cobra rims are a great way to get rims cheap that fit right...

I am running 2001 svt cobra rims, they are reproduction wheels from AFS in cali. got em off ebay too...
got the 17x9 in back and afs has a custom 17x8 (stock is 9) I used up front. So they fit pefect with no issues... ok ok so the 17x9 rubbed my emer cable a bit but a little cable mount tweaking and I've been all good!

    245/45/17 front tires 275/40/17 rears...

i just mounted 16x8 ford wheels (mustang I think) scored from craigslist for $50

Ive been seeing lots of deals on craigslist lately also if you find a car lot that deals with cars that they like the aftermarket look they might have take offs their willing to sale
I was also cruzin the used tire stores they always have rims and you might even strike a deal for tires and rims for under 250

considering the wheels make up half of the truck's attitude...... choose wisely. :waytogo:

there are lots of options out there. take a look around on the wheels section of each of these forums on TM....... there are a few pics out there of our trucks with wheels and different setups. they may give you ideas as to what you may be looking for.

examples of OEM wheels on our toys from other cars are like 350Z wheels on the thrid gen truck, cobra wheels on a stout, starion's on my second gen truck, and lexus wheels on just about any second or third gen truck...... good luck man :waytogo:
