    that's sounds like the correct approach to this situation just run it till it runs out of gas :ROFL: well at least i will have a good excuse if the cops pull me over... :shrug:

    So i kept drifting.

    my throttle actually stuck one time, it was after WOT too. apparently the little rubber grommet things on the throttle cable got stuck on my Throttle Bodie's lever thing. I was like, okay... pushed into neutral and tapped the gas and it got unstuck.

    why dont these idiots just tell people to take out the floor mats if its snagging on them??

    Because the floor mats is not what is causing these problems, it is a faulty accelerator pedal assembly that houses a throttle position sensor. Basically it malfunctions and tells the computer to open the throttle 100% even though your foot is not on the gas pedal. Toyota FAIL:rolleyes2:

    yeah. all id heard from vague research is that the pedal was sticking under the floor mats. is there a second related issue or something?

    i have a really simple solution to toyota's already circuit infected new cars and truck........ use a damn cable again you moron's and everything will be just fine........ not to mention it'll get rid of that damn throttle lag and rev hang :rolleyes:
