as soon as i move and have a place to work on my truck im lowering it. my plan is to notch it pull a leaf and three inch bocks in the rear and the normal torsion crank in the front. but i got to thinking since its better to have shorter shocks when lowered how would the monroe air shocks be for the rear? adjustable height and ride. the vw bug air bag kit uses similar ones in the front like so
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jx1kpNduuKQ&feature=player_embedded so my question is would it work and if so how well? this would be temporary until i link and bag it in the rear. thx any comments or help is aprreciated

Looks a hell of alot like it.

I dnt see why the air shocks wouldnt work. Guys here running mono leafs use them so why not.

You'd just have to play with the PSI to get it where u like

would do the job with some slight modifacation. Will help to smooth out the ride some. Personally I would worry a little more on the front bouncing like crazy if yer just going to crank down the t bars.. but none the less should work just fine.

Thats a VW floor pan. The 2 beams in front are torsions. King pin spindles.
